Tahini Cookies Recipe
We are starting a new week, I wanted our mouth to taste good again. I don't know what the equivalent of cookies is for you, but when I say cookies, what comes to my mind is the kind of cookies that crumble when bitten and fall apart in the mouth. Tahini cookies are not that kind of cookie. In fact, it's more like halva than cookies. So do not try to fit this cookie into the cookie mold in your mind.
It has a very delicate texture, let alone putting it in your mouth, it starts to disintegrate as soon as you touch it. In other words, the place you touch sticks to your hand. So be very careful after cooking. For example, do not take it out of the tray before it has completely cooled down. Or do not carry it to that plate or to this plate, if you do, do this with a spatula, try not to hold it with your hands.
The dough does not look like it is cooked, it is collected and shaped very easily, so you should not worry about it.
Its taste is very similar to tahini halva, but it has a much nicer, softer, velvety texture. If you like the smell and taste of tahini, this cookie may become your favourite. Not just because of its taste, of course. It has very few ingredients and waiting for the butter to come to room temperature, etc. There are no stages that make people lose their enthusiasm. You can get up and prepare in 10 minutes as soon as you can think of it.
I haven't tried freezing it before, but it can be difficult to freeze due to the delicate texture I mentioned above. So when putting in the rough etc. likely to break apart. There is no reason not to freeze it.
