Protein Bar Recipe
Protein bars are not my favorite snacks, but from time to time I buy protein bars instead of unhealthy snacks when I am out. The purpose of protein bars is known, so it would not be appropriate to complain about their lack of taste. On the other hand, it would not be wrong to try to find a solution instead of complaining.
From now on, you can prepare your own protein bars, make them cheaper, and keep a practical and healthy snack on hand by storing them in the refrigerator for weeks.
I can't help but make the same warning in this recipe that I make in all sugar-free recipes. Yes, bars are high in protein, but you should not forget that they contain dates and chocolate, which contain sugar used for sweetening purposes. If you wish, you can omit the dates and use sugar free chocolate. But in this case, you will compromise on taste. Here you should make the choice according to your life and health conditions.
I'm not very experienced with protein powder, so I can't recommend protein powder. Like an ordinary user, I looked at its content and comments and chose a product that had clean content and that the users were satisfied with. I was so focused on these two that I didn't even realize it was strawberry flavored. But it went well with the peanut butter flavor. If you are going to use it plain, the peanut butter flavor will be dominant.
You can melt chocolate in the microwave or use the bain marie method.
You can store protein bars in the refrigerator, airtight, for weeks.
