Dried Okra Dish Recipe
Serving : 4 Servings
Ingredients
- 50 g (2 handful) dried okra,
- 2 cups boiled chickpeas,
- 1 onion,
- 1 tbsp tomato paste,
- 2 tsps ground red pepper,
- 2 cloves of garlic,
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil,
- 2tbsps pomegranate molasses,
- Salt to taste,
- 5 cups hot water.
Preparation
- Boil the okras for 5 mins. and drain,
- Remove the thread,
- Chop onion and roast with vegetable oil,
- Add chopped garlic and tomateo paste and roast for 5 min.s in low heat,
- Add ground pepper and stir well,
- Add 5 cups hot water and okras and cook until the okras are tender,
- Add boiled chickpeas, salt and pomegranate molasses and cook for 5 mins.,
- Remove from heat and serve hot.
