Creamy Cabbage Soup Recipe
Serving : 4 Servings
Ingredients
- 2 cups very finely chopped cabbage,
- 2 carrots (diced),
- 1 small onion,
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil,
- 1 cup milk,
- 1 heaping tablespoon flour,
- 4 cups of water,
- Salt,
- Pepper.
Preparation
- Chop the onion and lightly sauté in oil until translucent,
- Add cabbage and carrots and cook until tender,
- Add flour and stir,
- Add milk and water and stir well,
- Simmer the soup at low heat setting for about 30 minutes,
- Season to taste with salt and pepper, if desired.
