Celery Bread Balls Recipe
Serving : 15-20 Balls
Ingredients
- 1 mid-sized celery root,
- 1 loaf of bread,
- 1 egg,
- 1 handful of finely chopped parsley,
- Salt and pepper to taste,
- 1 cup water,
- Mozzarella ct into cubes for filling,
- Sesame seeds for coating.
Preparation
- Peel and cut the celery root into cubes,
- Boil the water in a pan and place a steam cooking basket and place celeries into the basket,
- Cook until tender,
- Chop the bread finely,
- Add 1/2 cup hot water with which you cooked celeries,
- Add celeries, egg, parsley, salt and pepper and knead,
- Set aside the mixture in the fridge for 30 mins,
- Make small balls of the mixture and put a mozzarella cube into each ball and roll,
- Coat the balls with sesame seeds and place into a baking pan covered with parchement paper,
- Bake in a 190 C degres pre-heated oven for 30-35 mins.
