Quince Celery Recipe
Serving : 4 Servings
Ingredients
- 3 small sized celery roots,
- 2 medium carrots,
- 2 small size of quince,
- 1 onion, chopped,
- 3-4 tbsps of olive oil,
- 1 tsp of salt,
- 1 tsp of sugar,
- 1 tsp of flour,
- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice,
- 3 cups of water.
Preparation
- Take olive oil and onions into a large pot,
- Peel the celery, dice the cubes, peel the carrots and chop them round,
- Place the carrots and celery on the onions respectively and cover the lid,
- Combine water, lemon juice, flour, salt and sugar in a bowl and mix until no lumps,
- Spread the mixture over the vegetables, cover the lid and cook until the vegetables are soft,
- After the vegetables are soft enough, peel and chop the quinces,
- Add into the pot and stir,
- Cook until the quinces are tender (for 5-10 min).
