Quince Celery Recipe

Serving : 4 Servings

Ingredients

  • 3 small sized celery roots,
  • 2 medium carrots,
  • 2 small size of quince,
  • 1 onion, chopped,
  • 3-4 tbsps of olive oil,
  • 1 tsp of salt,
  • 1 tsp of sugar,
  • 1 tsp of flour,
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice,
  • 3 cups of water.

Preparation

  1. Take olive oil and onions into a large pot,
  2. Peel the celery, dice the cubes, peel the carrots and chop them round,
  3. Place the carrots and celery on the onions respectively and cover the lid,
  4. Combine water, lemon juice, flour, salt and sugar in a bowl and mix until no lumps,
  5. Spread the mixture over the vegetables, cover the lid and cook until the vegetables are soft,
  6. After the vegetables are soft enough, peel and chop the quinces,
  7. Add into the pot and stir,
  8. Cook until the quinces are tender (for 5-10 min).
