Creamy Celery Soup Recipe
Serving : 4 Servings
Ingredients
- 1 mid-sized celery root,
- 1 tbsp butter,
- 2 tbsps flour,
- 5 cups lukewarm water,
- 1/2 cup whipping cream,
- Chopped dill or parsley,
- Salt and pepper to taste.
Preparation
- Peel and grate celery root,
- Melt butter in a deep pan,
- Add grated celery and cook until tender,
- Add flour and cook for 1-2 mins.,
- Add water and stir fast,
- Stir until there is no lumps (blend if necessary),
- Cook until celery is very soft,
- Add whipping cream and stir,
- Remove from heat,
- Add salt, pepper and dill/parsley, then stir.
