Artichoke Pilaf Recipe
Serving : 4 Servings
Ingredients
- 1 cup rice,
- 2 boiled artichoke hearts,
- 2 tablespoons of frozen peas (cooked),
- 2 tablespoons of boiled carrots cut into small cubes,
- 5 tablespoons of olive oil,
- 2,5 cups water,
- Black pepper,
- Salt.
Preparation
- Heat olive oil in a large saucepan on medium heat,
- Add in the rice when the butter melts and cook for 5 mins stirring frequently,
- Stir in the water and salt,
- Now add in the diced cooked artichoke, peas and carrots,
- When the water starts to boil, put the lid on and cook on low heat until all the water is absorbed or the rice is fully cooked.
