Artichoke Pilaf Recipe

Serving : 4 Servings

Ingredients

  • 1 cup rice,
  • 2 boiled artichoke hearts,
  • 2 tablespoons of frozen peas (cooked),
  • 2 tablespoons of boiled carrots cut into small cubes,
  • 5 tablespoons of olive oil,
  • 2,5 cups water,
  • Black pepper,
  • Salt.

Preparation

  1. Heat olive oil in a large saucepan on medium heat,
  2. Add in the rice when the butter melts and cook for 5 mins stirring frequently,
  3. Stir in the water and salt,
  4. Now add in the diced cooked artichoke, peas and carrots,
  5. When the water starts to boil, put the lid on and cook on low heat until all the water is absorbed or the rice is fully cooked.
