  • 4 eggs,
  • 1,5 cups granulated sugar,
  • 1,5 cups milk,
  • 1 cup vegetable oil,
  • 1-1,5 cups flour,
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract,
  • 25 gr. cocoa powder,
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder,
  • 1 cups finely ground walnuts,
  • 1-1,5 cups unsweetened shredded coconut.


  1. Whisk together the sugar, milk and cocoa in a large bowl,
  2. Set 1 cup of this mixture aside,
  3. Add in the oil into the rest and whisk,
  4. Beat the eggs one by one into the mixture,
  5. Whisk in the flour, baking powder and vanilla extract,
  6. Stir in the walnuts,
  7. Pour the batter into a small greased rectangular baking dish and bake at 180 degrees celsius preheated oven,
  8. Remove from the oven and let it cool down for 15 mins,
  9. Cut the cake into small cubes,
  10. Pour over the sauce you set aside evenly using a small spoon,
  11. Cover with plastic wrap,
  12. Let it rest for 2 hours to soak up the sauce, then remove the cubes from the dish and coat with coconut flakes.
