Polenta Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups cornmeal,
  • 6 cups hot water,
  • 1 tbsp butter,
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan,
  • Salt.

Preparation:

  1. Put water and salt in a deep pan,
  2. When it starts to simmer ad cornmeal step by step and stir constantly,
  3. Cook until all the lumps are dissolved,
  4. Cover the lid and cook for 20-25 mins.,
  5. Add butter and parmesan and stir,
  6. Cook for another few mins. and remove from heat,
  7. Pour into a greased 22*22 cm baking dish,
  8. Set aside to cool for 2 hours,
  9. Remove from the dish and cut into rectengular bars,
  10. Deep fry of bake after greasing with vegetable oil all around at 200 C degrees until crispy.
