Mini Cake Recipe
Serving : 10 Servings
Ingredients
For Cake;
- 3 eggs,
- 1/2 cup sugar,
- 1/2 cup milk,
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil,
- 2 tbsps cocoa powder,
- 1 cup flour,
- 1 tsp baking powder.
For Filing Cream;
- 3 cups milk,
- 2 scoopful of corn or wheat starch,
- 1 egg yolk,
- 1/2 cup sugar,
- 10 g vanilin sugar,
- 1 tsp butter.
For Chocolate Sauce;
- 2 tbsps heavy cream,
- 40 g chocolate of your taste.
For Coating the Edges;
- Grated coconut.
Preparation
- For the filling combine milk, starch, egg yolk and sugar in a deep pan and beat together well,
- Cook in low heat, constantly stirring, until set,
- Remove from heat, add butter and vanilin sugar, beat well,
- Set aside to cool at room temperature (beat once in a while),
- For the cake beat the eggs together with the sugar,
- Add milk and oil, beat well,
- Add flour, cocoa powder and baking powder step by step and mix,
- Pour the mixture into a large baking pan covered with parchement paper,
- Bake in a 160 C degrees pre-heated oven for about 15 mins.,
- Remove from oven, set aside to cool,
- Cut 20 round pieces with a cookie cutter,
- Pour filling on 10 of them and put the other ten on them,
- Coat first with filling cream all around then with grated coconut,
- For sauce heat heavy cream and remove from heat,
- Add chopped chocolate and stir until it melts,
- Top the cakes with sauce.
