Chickpea Bulgur Pilaf Recipe

Serving : 4 Servings

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of coarse bulgur,
  • 1 cup of boiled chickpeas,
  • 1 onion, chopped,
  • 2 green peppers, chopped,
  • 1 tomato, chopped,
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil,
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste,
  • 1 tsp ground chilli,
  • 2 cups of boiling water,
  • Salt.

Preparation

  1. Heat oil in a large pan,
  2. Add the onion and green pepper, sautee until soften,
  3. Add the tomato paste and roast until smells good,
  4. Add the ground chilli, stir,
  5. Add tomato and cook until tender,
  6. Add bulgur and stir,
  7. Add water and salt, cover the lid and cook until the water until it is too low,
  8. Add chickpeas and stir and cook until the water is completely drained.
