Chicken Liver Pilaf Stuffing Recipe
Serving : 4 Servings
Ingredients
- 100 g chicken liver, chopped,
- 1 cup rice, washed and drained,
- 1 onion, chopped,
- 1 tsp tomato paste,
- 1 tbsp pine nuts,
- 1 tbsp currants,
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon,
- 1/2 tsp black pepper,
- 1 tsp allspice,
- 2 handful of chopped parsley,
- 1 tbsp butter,
- 3 tbsps vegetable oil,
- 2,5 cups boiling water,
- Salt to taste.
Preparation
- Heat butter and 2 tbsps vegetable oil in a large pan,
- Add onions and fry well,
- Add pine nuts and fry for 1-2 mins.,
- Add tomato paste and stir well,
- Add rice and fry, constantly stirring, for 5 mins.,
- Add cinnamon, black pepper, salt, allspice, currants and parsley and stir,
- Add water, stir,
- Cover the lid and cook until the rice is tender,
- Meanwhile in a different pan heat the remaining 1 tbsp vegetable oil,
- Add into chopped liver,
- Coock, stirrinf, until changes color and beacome tender, remove from heat,
- Add the cooked liver into the pilaf and stir well,
- Remove pilaf from heat and set aside for 10-15 mins. before serving.
