Stale Bread Pastry

Ingredients
- 1/2 loaf of stale bread,
- 1 cup milk,
- 200-250 gr feta cheese,
- 2 eggs,
- 1 handful finely chopped dill,
- 1 teaspoon baking soda,
- All purpose flour,
- Black cumin seeds.
Preparation
- Cut the bread into small pieces,
- Pour the milk over the bread and refrigerate for half an hour,
- Incorporate 1 egg, crumbled cheese and dill into the bread mixture with your hands,
- Refrigerate overnight,
- Add the baking soda and mix again,
- Form small smooth balls out of the mixture,
- Beat the other egg in a separate bowl,
- Dip the balls first into flour, then into the beaten egg,
- Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper,
- Sprinkle black cumin seeds on top,
- Bake at 210 degrees Celsius until golden brown.
