Easy Spinach Borek Recipe

Serving : 6-8 Servings

Ingredients

  • 3 sheets of yufka,
  • 500 g spinach,
  • 1 onion,
  • 3 eggs,
  • 3/4 cup milk,
  • 1/2 cups + 4 tbsps of vegetable oil,
  • 250 g cottage cheese or crumbled Turkish breakfast cheese.

Preparation

  1. Heat 4 tbsps of oil in a large pan,
  2. Add into chopped onion and cook until translucent,
  3. Add into spinach and cook until tender,
  4. Whisk together the eggs, vegetable oil and milk,
  5. Add the cheese and spinach mixture and stir well,
  6. Cut the yufkas into small pieces and add them to the mixture, then stir well,
  7. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish,
  8. Bake at 180 C degrees until the top is golden brown.
