Ingredients:
- 2 sheets of Turkish yufka,
- 1 egg,
- 3/4 cup milk,
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil,
- 300 g curd cheese/crumbled feta cheese,
- A handful of chopped parsley,
- 1 teaspoon butter,
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds.
Preparation:
- For sauce whisk the egg, vegetable oil and milk together,
- Stir together the cheese and parsley,
- Grease the cake pan with butter,
- Sprinkle sesame seeds on the surface of the cake pan,
- Cut a hole in the middle of one of the phyllo sheets and place it inside the cake pan, leaving 5 cm of sheet hanging from the sides, take the extra parts,
- Tear them in small pieces and place into the pan,
- Pour over some sauce,
- Sprinkle some cheese mixture,
- Tear some yufka and place on top,
- Place all the remaining ingredients in the same order (sauce, cheese mixture and yufka)
- Now fold the hanging parts of the first yufka sheet into the pan to cover the top,
- Bake at a 190 degrees celsius preheated oven until the edges are golden brown,
- After removing from the oven, pour 2-3 tablespoons of water evenly on top to soften it,
- Turn upside down and let it cool, slice and serve.
