Caramel Sauce Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup sugar,
  • 1 cup boiling water,
  • 1 tbsp butter,
  • 1 cup heavy cream.

Preparation:

  1. In a large pan melt butter and sugar together,
  2. Stirring off and on, cook until it gets a dark brown colour,
  3. Add boiling water and cream and stir fast (sugar can harden at this point, don’t bother),
  4. Keep stirring and cook until sugar melts again,
  5. Cook until desired consistency,
  6. Transfer into a jar and keep at room temperature.
