My lifelong bad relationship with peanut butter has improved after I made my first peanut butter at home. I thought that I didn't like peanut butter because of the taste that bothered me, which I guessed was due to the fact that the store bought peanut butter is made with over roasted peanuts. After tasting the peanut butter I made just to share the recipe on the blog, I realized that it's not that I don't like peanut butter, but I don't like store bought peanut butter.

Thus, a new page was opened in my life. Dipping a banana in peanut butter has become one of my favorite snack recipes. Over time, I added one more ingredient to this simple duo and worked on the the shape to turn this snack into a shareable recipe.

This recipe consists of three simple ingredients; banana, peanut butter and chocolate. In its most abstract form, peanut butter is placed between two banana slices and melted chocolate is drizzled on it. The decoration is entirely up to you. But green pistachio goes well with chocolate. You can use peanut butter with or without sugar according to your taste. Likewise, chocolate can be of any kind you want, depending entirely on your taste and preferences.

The waiting time for the recipe is quite short, as the banana begins to water and darken after sliced. To serve them in their freshest, most pleasing-looking state, try to serve peanut butter banana sandwiches within 5-6 hours after preparing them.

Serving : 20 Pieces

Ingredients

  • 2 bananas,
  • 1 heaping tablespoon of peanut butter,
  • 150 g chocolate,
  • Chopped pistachios.

How to make steps

Preparation

  1. Melt the chocolate and set aside for five minutes to cool a little,
  2. Peel and slice the bananas,
  3. Put half a teaspoon of peanut butter on half of the banana slices,
  4. Place the other banana slices on them,
  5. Pour melted chocolate over them,
  6. Sprinkle with ground pistachios,
  7. Put it in the fridge for 5-10 minutes,
  8. Serve within 5-6 hours.
