Fried Pepper Salad With Yogurt And Tomato Sauce Fried Pepper Salad With Yogurt And Tomato Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 4-5 peppers in different colors, chopped,
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil,
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste,
  • 2 tsps ground red pepper,
  • 3 cups plain yogurt,
  • 2 cloves of garlic,
  • 1/2 cup hot water,
  • Salt to taste.

Preparation:

  1. Heat the oil in a pan,
  2. Add peppers and cook in high heat constantly stirring until tender,
  3. Remove the peppers from the oil into a bowl,
  4. Add tomato paste into the oil and cook for 2-3 mins,
  5. Add ground red pepper and cook for another 1 min.,
  6. Add hot water and stir until the lumps disappear,
  7. Remove from heat,
  8. Chop or smash garlic cloves and add into yogurt with some salt, mix well,
  9. Lay yogurt into a long serving plate,
  10. Pour tomato sauce on top and then peppers,
  11. Garnish with red pepper flakes.
