Ingredients:
- 4-5 peppers in different colors, chopped,
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil,
- 1 tbsp tomato paste,
- 2 tsps ground red pepper,
- 3 cups plain yogurt,
- 2 cloves of garlic,
- 1/2 cup hot water,
- Salt to taste.
Preparation:
- Heat the oil in a pan,
- Add peppers and cook in high heat constantly stirring until tender,
- Remove the peppers from the oil into a bowl,
- Add tomato paste into the oil and cook for 2-3 mins,
- Add ground red pepper and cook for another 1 min.,
- Add hot water and stir until the lumps disappear,
- Remove from heat,
- Chop or smash garlic cloves and add into yogurt with some salt, mix well,
- Lay yogurt into a long serving plate,
- Pour tomato sauce on top and then peppers,
- Garnish with red pepper flakes.
