Wheat and Green Lentil Soup Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 cup green lentils,
  • 1/2 cup wheat grain,
  • 1 tablespoon flour,
  • 2 tablespoons yogurt,
  • 1 egg yolk,
  • 4 cups of water at room temperature,
  • 2-3 tablespoons vegetable oil,
  • 2 teaspoons dried mint,
  • Salt to taste.

Preparation

  1. Wash and drain wheat and lentils
  2. Take into a pressured cooker and cover with boiling water,
  3. Cook until softened (I cooked for 20 minutes),
  4. In a deep bowl mix egg yolk, yogurt and flour together,
  5. Add water and beat to a smooth consistency,
  6. Pour the mixture into a pan,
  7. Add lentils and wheat,
  8. Cook, constantly stirring, until thickens,
  9. Add into salt, stir and remove from heat,
  10. In a small saucepan heat vegetable oil,
  11. Add into the dired mint, stir and remove from heat,
  12. While serving pour the sauce over the bowls.
