Vermicelli Soup Recipe


Vermicelli Soup Recipe


  • 3/4 – 1 cup vermicelli,
  • 2 long green peppers,
  • 1 tomato,
  • 2-3 tablespoons vegetable oil,
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste,
  • 2 teaspoons paprika,
  • 5 cups water,
  • 2 teaspoons dried mint,
  • Salt.


  1. Sauté the finely minced peppers in vegetable oil until softened,
  2. Add in the grated tomato and cook until softened,
  3. Stir in the tomato paste and cook for 2 more mins,
  4. Stir in the paprika,
  5. Add the water and stir,
  6. Add in the vermicelli, put the lid on and cook over medium heat until the vermicelli is softened,
  7. Stir in the salt and dried mint before removing from heat.
