Turkish Style Florentine Omelette
Serving : 4 Portion
Ingredients
- 1 bunch spinach,
- 1 onion,
- 5 eggs,
- 1/2 cup grated cheddar,
- 1/3 cup olive oil,
- 2 small tomatoes,
- Salt.
Preparation
- Finely chop the onion and sauté in olive oil,
- Add the chopped spinach to the pan, cook for 3-4 mins, then remove from heat,
- Whisk the eggs in a separate bowl,
- Add the cooled spinach and onion to the eggs, along with the grated cheddar and salt,
- Stir everything together,
- Grease a springform pan,
- Pour the spinach egg mixture into the pan,
- Evenly distribute the tomato slices on top,
- Bake in an oven preheated to 200 degrees celsius until the eggs are set and the sides of the omelette are golden brown.
