Spinach Lasagna Recipe
Serving : 6 Servings
Ingredients
- 9 lasagna sheets (no pre-cooking required),
- 1-2 cups of grated cheese.
For spinach mixture;
- 500 g spinach, chopped,
- 2 cups of curd cheese or crushed low fat white cheese,
- 2 tablespoons olive oil,
- 100 ml heavy cream.
For tomato sauce;
- 5 tomatoes, grated,
- 1 clove of garlic, grated,
- 2 tablespoons olive oil,
- Salt.
Preparation
- For the spinach mixture, heat oil in a large pan,
- Add into the spinach and sautee until tender,
- Add the cheese and cream, stir and remove from heat,
- For tomato sauce, heat oil in a large pan,
- Add into the garlich and stir,
- Add the grated tomatoes and cook for 5 mins. after it starts to boil,
- Pour a ladle tomato sauce into a baking dish which is large enough for 3 lasagna sheets,
- Place 3 lasagna sheets side by side,
- Hover over one third of the remaining tomato sauce,
- Spread half of the spinach mixture on,
- Place three more lasagna sheets,
- Hover over half of the remaining tomato sauce and all of the spinach mixture,
- Place three more lasagna sheets,
- Pour over the remaining tomato sauce,
- Cover with grated cheese,
- Bake in a 180 C degrees preheated oven until the cheese melts.
