Sautéed Celeriac Recipe

Serving : 4 Servings

Ingredients

  • 600 g celeriac,
  • 1 onion,
  • 1 carrot,
  • 1 tomato,
  • 1 tablespoon of tomato paste,
  • 4 tbsps of olive oil,
  • 1 cup of boiling water,
  • Dried thyme,
  • Salt.

Preparation

  1. Finely chop the onion and sauté until translucent,
  2. Add in the tomato paste and stir fry for a few seconds,
  3. Add diced celeriac and chopped carrot and stir fry for a few minutes,
  4. Add into the grated tomato and cook for a few minutes more
  5. Add the water, cover and cook until tender,
  6. Add thyme and salt, stir and remove from heat.
