If you love lamb, a recipe you should try as soon as possible is paper wrapped lamb recipe. If your meat is frozen, let me give you a trick. No matter how you thaw frozen meat, in order to thaw it in a short time, freeze it by spreading it thinly in a ziplock bag instead of freezing it in a large mass as you get it from the butcher. The thinner it is, the sooner it will thaw.

To make the meal more satisfying, you can make a side of rice with vermicelli as in the photos and fettush salad as a side dish. Somehow, if you can't take yourself from cooking, you can make taş kadayif for dessert.

Let me give you one last tip about the recipe. If you need to cook the food a few hours before serving, you can cook for the first hour and keep the food that way, then open the paper before serving and bake for another fifteen minutes. In this way, both the food will be warmed, it will not be fried and it will not dry out while waiting.

Preparation

  1. Spread the lamb meat in the middle of a large piece of greaseproof paper,
  2. Sprinkle with salt,
  3. Fold the greaseproof paper so that the meat is airtight and place it in an oven dish,
  4. Bake for an hour in a preheated oven at 200 C degrees,
  5. Unfold the paper and return it to the oven for another 15 minutes.
