Mint Sherbet Recipe Mint Sherbet Recipe


  • 1 bunch of fresh mint,
  • 1 cup sugar,
  • 5 cups water,
  • Half a lemon,
  • Green food colorant (optional).


  1. Remove the leaves of the mint and take into a deep bowl,
  2. Add into the sugar, grated peels and juice of the lemon,
  3. Rub with your hand until the mints are smashed,
  4. Add 5 cups of water, stir until the sugar dissolves,
  5. Cover with a plastic wrap, set aside for 30 mins.,
  6. Strain using a fine sieve, take into a glass pitcher,
  7. Serve cold.
