Ibiza Dessert Recipe
Ibiza dessert was one of the rare recipes that could not be found on my blog. I saw its name for the first time in search statistics. When I searched it on Google to see what it is, I saw that it is a slightly fancier version of the dessert called pasha wrap, banana wrap or rulotat in Turkish cuisine.
I normally never make it, but I guess it was just because I was lazy, I decided to make it with one of the recipes I found on the internet, so that searches on the blog won't come up empty. So I followed a recipe that was among the top rankings without even thinking about it. What do you think happened? I did the same thing and it didn't work. I understand once again why you love my recipes so much. In other words, the consistency was not so bad that a consistency can be just that bad, not more than that. You know, sometimes it happens that even the food you normally cook can a little too salty or the soup can be runnier than usual. This is not something like that. As you know, it is not a dessert that should be served like pudding in a cup and eaten by spoon. But the consistency I got was like that. I regretted a lot afterwards. I already have a banana pudding roll recipe, I could use it. Anyway, this was such a life lesson for me.
I have nothing to say about the pudding in the recipe. It is very easy to make and has a perfect consistency.
Oatmeal biscuits are used in all recipes I've checked. In terms of taste, I like oatmeal biscuits more, but if you don't have them on hand, there is no harm in using petit beurre biscuits in terms of consistency. In some recipes, the tray is greased or butter is added so that the biscuits stick. No need. It soaks the dampness of the pudding and becomes damp. On the contrary if the biscuit sticks to the surface, it prevents them from rolling properly.
Laying wax paper on the bottom of the tray and cutting the wax paper while slicing makes the job much easier, but if you don't have wax paper, you can omit it and roll it with a spatula.
