Fried Green Peppers With Yoghurt Sauce

Ingredients

  • 9-10 green / red bell peppers,
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil,
  • 1 tomato,
  • 1 cup yoghurt,
  • 2 cloves garlic,
  • Salt.

Preparation

  1. Cut the peppers into strips,
  2. Heat the oil in a skillet, add in the peppers and stir,
  3. Cook on low heat lid on until the peppers are softened,
  4. Remove the peppers from the oil using a ladle strainer and place on a serving platter, then sprinkle on some salt,
  5. Peel and chop the tomato, then place in the same skillet along with a pinch of salt,
  6. Cook on low heat for 10 mins,
  7. Crush the garlic and stir well with yoghurt,
  8. Pour the yoghurt mixture over the peppers,
  9. Then top with sautéed tomato.
