Chicken With Zucchini Bechamel Sauce Recipe

Ingredients
For the zucchini béchamel;
- 3 green zucchinis,
- 1.5 tablespoons flour,
- 1 cup whole milk,
- 1 cup grated cheddar,
- 1 tablespoon butter,
- Salt.
For the chicken sauté;
- 2 chicken breasts,
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil,
- 2 teaspoons paprika,
- Salt.
Preparation
- Peel and grate the zucchinis,
- Cook them over low heat in a pan without oil until softened,
- In the meantime, cut the chicken into small strips,
- In a separate pan, heat the vegetable oil and add the chicken,
- Cook over high heat until they turn golden brown and are fully cooked,
- Add the salt and paprika and stir for 1-2 mins, then remove from heat,
- Add butter to the softened zucchinis,
- Once the butter melts, add the flour and stir for 1-2 mins,
- Now add the milk and stir well,
- Finally add the salt, cheddar and stir until the cheddar melts and the sauce becomes creamy, then remove from heat,
- Place the chicken strips on the zucchini béchamel and serve.
