Chicken With Vegetables Au Graten

Ingredients

  • 2 whole chicken breasts, chopped,
  • 3 medium size potatoes,
  • 10 mushrooms,
  • 1 red pepper,
  • 1 cup milk,
  • 1 cup heavy cream,
  • 1 egg,
  • 1 tablespoons flour,
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil,
  • 1 cup grated swiss cheese / cheddar,
  • 1 handful bread crumbs,
  • 1 small tomato,
  • Salt, black pepper.

Preparation

  1. Cut the potatoes round,
  2. Take potatoes and chicken breasts into a pot, add water and boil until soften,
  3. Slice the mushrooms and pepper finely,
  4. Heat three tbsps vegetable oil in a large pan,  add mushrooms and pepper, sautee until tender,
  5. Add the chicken and stir,
  6. Place half of the potatoes in the bottom of a 20 * 30 cm baking pan,
  7. Spread the chicken and vegetable mixture over,
  8. Place the remaining potatoes,
  9. Combine milk, cream, eggs, flour, salt and pepper in a bowl and beat well,
  10. Pour this mixture onto chicken and vegetables,
  11. Sprinkle on the grated cheese,
  12. Sprinkle bread crumbs,
  13. Place sliced tomatoes,
  14. Bake in a 190 C degrees oven until golden on top,
