Beef Tenderloin in Tomato Sauce with Video
Ingredients
- 500 g thinly sliced tenderloin,
- 1 onion,
- 1 tablespoon of tomato paste,
- 1 tablespoon of butter,
- 3 tablespoons of olive oil,
- 1 teaspoon of paprika powder,
- 3 bay leaves,
- 2 cups of beef broth,
- 1/2 cup boiling water,
- Salt.
Preparation
- Heat the olive oil in a deep pan and sear the tenderloin slices on both sides,
- Remove the seared meat and set it aside on a plate,
- Add the butter to the same pan and let it melt,
- Add the chopped onion and sauté until softened,
- Add the tomato paste and cook until fragrant,
- Add the paprika and black pepper, and stir,
- Pour in the beef broth, stir, and blend the mixture,
- Add salt, water, and bay leaves, and mix well,
- Add the seared meat, cover, and cook on low heat until the meat is tender.
