Baked Spinach Mac and Cheese Recipe
Serving : 4-6 Servings
Ingredients
- 1 bunch spinach,
- 1 small onion,
- 1/2 packet bead macaroni,
- 1 cup feta cheese,
- 2 cups grated parmesan cheese,
- 1 egg,
- 2 cups of milk,
- 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil,
- Salt,
- Pepper.
Preparation
- Chop the onion and lightly sauté in oil until translucent,
- Add thinly chopped spinach and cook until its water is absorbed,
- In a large pot with boiling salted water cook bead macaroni until al dente and drain,
- In a large bowl mix together the eggs and milk,
- Add the pasta, spinach, feta cheese, salt and pepper, stir well,
- Pour the mixture into a greased ovenware,
- Bake in a preheated 210 degree C oven until golden brown,
- Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
