Ingredients

For Tart Dough;

  • 100 cold butter, cut into cubes,
  • 1 tbsp plain yogurt,
  • 3 tbsp confectioners sugar,
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder,
  • 2 cups flour.

For Topping;

  • 1 big apple,
  • 2 tbsp sugar,
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch,
  • 1 tbsp butter at room temperature,
  • 1 tsp cinnamon.

Preparation

  1. For the dough in a deep bowl combine flour, baking powder and confectioners sugar together,
  2. Add butter and rub into the mixture using your fingertips to make a light breadcrumb texture,
  3. Add yogurt and knead until you reach a smooth dough,
  4. Roll the ball in 2 mm thick rectangular, trim the edges with a knife to look good,
  5. Place on a baking sheet covered with parchement paper,
  6. Set aside in the fridge for 15 mins.,
  7. Meanwhile in a small bowl mix butter, cornstarch, sugar and cinnamon together,
  8. Remove the stalks and seeds of apples, peel and slice very thinly,
  9. Add the butter mixture and mix well,
  10. Place apple slices on the the tart dough,
  11. Bake in a 180 C degrees pre-heated oven unti golden in the edges,
