Spinach Buns Recipe


  • 200 ml heavy cream,
  • 2 eggs,
  • 3,5 cups flour,
  • 10 g baking powder,
  • 3 tsps salt,
  • 6 tsps sugar,
  • 2 cups sauteed spinach.


  1. In a deep bowl beat heavy cream, eggs, salt and sugar,
  2. Add flour step by step and start to knead,
  3. Add baking powder with flour and knead until you reach an elastic dough,
  4. Split the dough into 2 pieces,
  5. Roll the dough to a thin rectangular sheet,
  6. Spread half of the spinach on top,
  7. Roll from the two long edges through the middle, then cut  the log into 17 rolls,
  8. Do the same for the other half of the dough,
  9. Place them with a cut side down in a parchement covered pan,
  10. Bake until golden in a 180 C degrees pre-heated oven.
