Crown Cookies Recipe
Serving : 30 Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 egg,
- 150 g cold butter,
- 2 - 2.5 cups of flour,
- 1/2 cup of powdered sugar,
- 1tsp baking powder,
- 3/4 cups of raisins,
- 1 tablespoon honey,
- Grated coconut.
Preparation
- Mix butter, egg, powdered sugar and baking powder in a deep bowl,
- Start kneading by adding the flour gradually,
- Add flour and knead until you get a non-sticky dough (you may need to use more or less flour),
- Add the dried grapes and knead until evenly distributed,
- Roll the dough and wrap with a plastic warp, set in the freezer for 1 hour,
- Remove from freezer cut into slices of equal thickness,
- Cook in a 190 C degrees pre-heated oven until the edges are slightly pink,
- Remove from oven and let cool,
- With a brush or with your fingers, Brush the edges with honey and cover with grated coconut.
