Chocolate And Hazelnuts Cookies Recipe

This chocolate hazelnut cookie is a simple yet incredibly delicious treat. When people occasionally ask me, "How does it taste?" I usually can't find an answer other than "delicious," but for this one, I have a ready response: it tastes just like Tadelle. Yes, you read that right—this cookie tastes exactly like the well-known Tadelle chocolate. Even its aroma is the same. I’m not sure if Tadelle still tastes the same; it’s been years since I last had one. But the flavor and scent are engraved in my memory, and this cookie is an exact match. The tiny hazelnut pieces, the rich chocolate aroma, the firm bite that melts in your mouth if you let it sit for a moment…
For those around my age, Tadelle was probably the most beloved and frequently eaten chocolate during childhood. To be honest, we didn’t have many options back then. It was either a Tadelle from the corner store or a plain cake baked by mom.
I believe that one of the reasons for the attention deficit in today's children—and even in us adults—is the overwhelming number of choices. Choosing between two options takes a minute, but browsing through hundreds can take hours. Nowadays, buying something requires days of research: checking prices in stores, searching online, reading forum discussions… If all this effort resulted in anything other than confusion, I wouldn’t mind. In the past, when we needed something, we would simply go to the nearest or most trusted shop, buy it, and come home.
The digital age, rather than simplifying our lives, has made them more complicated. We chase after the illusion that technology will offer us a "better life," working tirelessly to afford the latest, most advanced gadgets. And what have we become? People aimlessly scrolling through their smart devices, occasionally liking, sharing, tapping hearts, or clicking on laughing emojis. We celebrate and mourn on social media. Instead of embracing a grieving friend, we simply write "my condolences" online. The strangest part? No one finds this odd anymore—not even those who first encountered the internet in their 50s or 60s.
I can’t help but wonder—will there come a time when we look back on these days with nostalgia? Will we say, "Remember how great Facebook was? We used to wish each other happy birthdays there, and sulk when our friends didn’t like our Instagram posts"? If so, I can’t imagine what the future holds for us.
Oh, Tadelle… what a perfect chocolate you were.
Enjoy!
