Banana Pudding Recipe


  • 5 cups whole milk,
  • 5 tablespoons flour,
  • 3/4 cups granulated sugar,
  • 1 egg,
  • 100 ml heavy cream,
  • 10 g vanilla powder or 1/2 tablespoon of vanilla extract,
  • 2 bananas,
  • 175 g graham crackers or digestive biscuits.


  1. Place the milk in a large saucepan,
  2. Add the egg, flour and sugar into the milk and whisk well,
  3. Put the pan on medium heat and cook stirring constantly until thickened,
  4. Remove from heat, add the heavy cream and vanilla, then whisk well,
  5. Whiz the biscuits up in a food processor,
  6. Slice the bananas,
  7. Pour the pudding to fill 1 cm up your dessert dishes,
  8. Sprinkle some ground biscuits on top,
  9. Place the banana slices on the sides of the dishes,
  10. Pour some more of the pudding,
  11. Repeat this pattern until you completely fill the dessert dishes,
  12. Decorate with ground biscuits and banana slices,
  13. Serve chilled.
