Apricote Compote Recipe with Video

Serving : 8 Servings

Ingredients

  • 500 g of fresh apricots,
  • 3/4 cups of sugar,
  • 2 liters of water,
  • 1 stick of cinnamon,
  • 4 cloves of cloves.

Preparation

  1. Take water, sugar, cinnamon sticks and cloves in a deep pot,
  2. Simmer on high heat until the sugar melts and the water starts to boil,
  3. When the water starts to boil, remove the cinnamon stick,
  4. Remove the cores of the apricots and chop them into small pieces,
  5. Add the apricots to the water and cook until they are completely soft,
  6. Take the pot off the stove and let it cool,
  7. After it comes to room temperature, place it in the refrigerator and let it rest for at least 2 hours.
