Hasselback Potato With Ground Beef with Video
Serving : 4 Servings
Ingredients
- 5000 g ground beef,
- 1 onion, chopped,
- 1/2 tsp pepper,
- 1/2 tsp cumin,
- 3 large potatoes,
- 4 tomatoes,
- 2 tsps dried mint,
- 1 tsp sugar,
- Salt to taste,
- 1 cup grated mozzarella.
Preparation
- Peel the potatoes and cut into round shape, place in cold water,
- In a deep bowl combine ground beef, onion, pepper, cumin and salt and knead,
- Place 1 tsp of the ground beef mixture on top of each potato slice and place the slices into a 26 cm greased baking dish,
- Spray with oil on top and bake at 190 C degrees until the potatoes are soft,
- Grate tomatoes,
- Add salt, dried mint and sugar and mix well,
- Remove the dish from oven and pour the sauce over,
- Bake for another 10 mins.,
- Remove from oven and sprinkle grated mozzarella on top,
- Bake again until the cheese melts.
