Lace Cookies Recipe
Serving : 36 Cookies
Ingredients
- 100 g butter,
- 1/2 cup sugar,
- 1/2 cup coarsely ground almond,
- 1 tbsp honey,
- 1 tbsp heavy cream,
- 1 heaping spoon of flour,
- Grated zest of 1 orange.
Preparation
- Melt the butter in a sauce pan,
- Add heavy cream, honey and sugar,
- Cook, constantly stirring, until the sugar melts,
- Turn off the heat and add flour, almonds and orange zest, stir well,
- Set aside until cool,
- Drop cookie batter by the teaspoon onto prepared baking sheets, leaving about 10 cm between each cookie to allow them to spread,
- Bake in a 170 C degrees pre-heated oven until golden,
- Remove from oven (they will be still liquid when you remove from oven) and with the help of a tea spoon reform if they are not round,
- Set aside until they thoughen and remove from the sheet,
- Bake the remaining dough in the same way.
